THE RÁ MOUNTAIN

THE RÁ MOUNTAIN

Rá is the highest summit of Dankrad mountains. It is an active vulcan, but compared to the other vulcans its behavior is a bit non-standart. Rá has one central crater and its erruptions are relatively regular. That is why it should have the shape of stratovulcan as e.g. Vesuvius or Fuji. In fact, its shape rather resembles stiff content of gigantic vulcanic flue uncovered by erosion. But let we forgive the mountain which used to be a residence of the Gods that it doesn´t respect geological rules... The God - smith Varandur had his smithy in the heart of Rá (i.e. in the magma chamber) and after him his disciple Rekkeswinth had the smithy in the same place. Rekkeswinth forged the eleven unusual swords here, among them the sword of the king Pedetris, which later belonged to Wanne.
